The Catholic Church in Egypt said on 5 November 2026 that it concluded its participation in the 11th annual conference of the Priests and Pastors Committee at the Council of Churches in Egypt. The church said the conference was held at St. Mina's House in Ibbar under the theme "Repairer of Breaches" and was held under the patronage of His Grace Patriarch Anba Ibrahim Isaac.

Father Boutros Anwar, the pastor of the Holy Family Church in Fayyum, delivered a lecture on behalf of the Catholic Church in Egypt regarding challenges facing priests in their family lives. The church said Father Boutros Anwar reviewed common challenges and presented practical visions for addressing them, focusing on the pastor's responsibility and role in supporting families.

The final day of the conference featured an ecumenical prayer involving all church families and a lecture titled "The Perfection and Redemption of the Person of the Lord Jesus," the church said.
