The Catholic Church said the feast of the Franciscan Capuchin saint is celebrated on 23 September every year.

The Latin Diocese is scheduled to keep the relics of Saint Pio at its headquarters in Heliopolis, the church said. The relics are intended to be a source of blessing and prayers for the faithful and a reminder of the life of the saint, who dedicated his life to prayer, service to the Church, and humanity, according to the statement.
