The Catholic Church in Egypt said on 3 September 2026 that the Annual Conference for Married Priests and Their Families concluded under the patronage of His Grace Patriarch Anba Ibrahim Isaac.

According to the church, the activities were held at the Holy Family House in Alexandria under the theme “Walking Together Towards Christ”.

The church said the final day began with the Divine Liturgy presided over by His Grace Anba Bishara. This was followed by a lecture titled “The Domestic Church” delivered by Father Kyrillos Tamer, Vicar of the Monastery of the Virgin Mary, Lady of the Annunciation for the Coptic Catholics in Alexandria. The church said the lecture was based on the document “Wonderful Humanity” by His Holiness Pope Leo XIV and focused on “Domestic and Ecclesial Heartfelt Prayer”.

The lecture included an open dialogue with the priests and their families, the church said. The conference activities ended with a closing prayer.
