Franciscan Monks in Egypt complete second group of annual spiritual retreat, church says
The retreat focused on the theme “Preaching, an Act of Faith and a Witness of Life,” the Catholic Church in Egypt said.
The Catholic Church in Egypt said on 22 October 2026 that the second group of the annual spiritual retreat for the Franciscan Monks in Egypt concluded between 19 October and 22 October.
According to the church, the activities of the retreat used the theme “Preaching, an Act of Faith and a Witness of Life,” which was inspired by the motto “Here am I, send me” (Isaiah 6:8). Father Nasser Crommel, a Franciscan, was responsible for leading the spiritual meditations, the church said.
