Coptic Orphans said on 23 October 2026 that Nada Nabil joined as a volunteer two years ago when their village was selected to participate in the Not Alone program.

Nada Nabil became a Volunteer Representative with Coptic Orphans in their village and was encouraged four months into volunteering to apply for a Field Coordinator position in Minya, the organization said. The organization said that despite needing a job, Nada Nabil declined every opportunity for a year and a half.

On 7 October 2023, Nada Nabil interviewed for the Field Coordinator role and was accepted, which was the same date they had been rejected the previous year, the organization said.
