# Development centers in Beheira and Sohag hold health and parenting programs

The Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services organized a vaccination campaign at the Family and Child Development Center in Manshiyat Olouba, Beheira Governorate, according to the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services. The campaign was held in coordination with the Beheira Health Directorate and the Abu al-Matamir Health Administration. Specialized medical teams vaccinated 110 children, aged two to six, who are enrolled in nursery, preschool, and kindergarten stages at the center. This effort was part of a national vaccination campaign against measles and rubella organized by the state.
In Sohag Governorate, the Family and Child Development Center operated by the Coptic Orthodox Church's Diaconia for Public and Social Services organized an educational seminar on positive parenting methods, Al-Dostor reported. The seminar was held in cooperation with the health education team of the Ministry of Health at the Tama health administration. Sixteen women from the village participated in the event, which addressed the importance of positive parenting in building a child's personality and enhancing communication between parents and children.
## Integrated services
The Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services stated that the Manshiyat Olouba project is part of an assignment by the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, implemented in partnership with the Ministries of Social Solidarity, Education, and Local Development. The project aims to provide integrated developmental services to improve living, educational, and social conditions for families in targeted communities.
According to Al-Dostor, the seminar in Sohag is part of a protocol to operate 47 Family and Child Development Centers through cooperation between the National Alliance for Civil Work Development and the ministries of Social Solidarity, Education, and Local Development. The Diaconia for Public and Social Services is a Coptic Orthodox Church institution that provides services to needy groups through programs aimed at improving quality of life and community participation.
