The visit was held under the patronage of Patriarch Anba Ibrahim Isaac and included the participation of parish priest Father Maged Moanes, the church said.

According to the statement, Father Mina Athanasius received the youth and led an introductory tour inside the monastery. The tour covered the history of the monastery, the academic role of the Oriental Institute for Christian Studies, and a library specialized in Islamic heritage that supports dialogue and understanding between the Catholic Church and the Islamic world.

The church said the program featured an open meeting with the Superior of the Dominican Order regarding the components of the Dominican family—including monks, nuns, sisters, and the secular order—and a discussion on the fundamentals of monastic life. The Superior of the Dominican Order emphasized that preaching is not exclusive to priests, but that every Christian is called to be a preacher through their daily life and witness for Christ.

Father Maged Moanes spoke about the importance of deep research and study of the faith, calling on youth to understand their faith deeply and hold fast to its roots, according to the report. Father Mina Athanasius delivered a spiritual word titled "Melody of Theology" regarding the Church, reflecting on faith through church rituals and hymns, the church said.
