## Service details

The service was held at St. Thérèse Maronite Church in Ismailia. The Archbishop expressed gratitude to the Maronite Church, led by Bishop Georges Chihane, for hosting the Episcopal congregation and allowing the service to be held at the church, the Episcopal/Anglican Province of Alexandria reported. The event was attended by the Rev. Canon Hany Shenouda, Dean of All Saints’ Episcopal Cathedral in Zamalek, the Rev. Rami Naim, the church's pastor, and a large congregation of worshippers, according to Al-Dostor.

## Sermons and prayers

During his sermon, the Archbishop said, “God loves small beginnings and brings great things out of them,” and explained that Church growth is determined by God's presence rather than resources or attendance numbers, the Episcopal/Anglican Province of Alexandria stated. He cited God's words to Moses: “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

Canon Hany offered prayers for the newly confirmed members, inviting the congregation to experience the real presence of Christ in their daily lives and to allow God to be glorified through them in their service, according to the Episcopal/Anglican Province of Alexandria. He also prayed for the strengthening of the Rev. Rami Naim in his ministry to the church in Ismailia.
